Personal Banker

POSITION SUMMARY & MISSION

The hiring range for this opportunity is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

SCOPE & COMPLEXITY

Conduct an average of approximately 12 or more customer conversations daily.

Presentation to Customers

• Share your knowledge about Tri Counties Bank services, products, and partners to help your customers' save money, make more money or make their banking more convenient.
• Employ appropriate solutions for your customers.
• Follow through and honor commitments to ensure their financial needs and goals are fulfilled.

Major Responsibilities

• Show the customer they are valued.
• Create and expand banker-client relationships based on purpose, value, and trust.
• Assist with a variety of transactions, including check cashing, cash depositing, loan payments, and counting currency and coin.
• Update a customer relationship management database with records of all customer interactions.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with other Tri Counties Bank financial services professionals.
• Avoid errors and ensure accuracy in all customer transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Train branch team members on product knowledge and skill development.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience And Other Skills Required

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous sales and cash handling experience is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Personal computer and Windows based program proficiency is required.
• Completion of Bank product and sales training courses and appropriate certifications is necessary.
• To be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS).

Physical Requirements

May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
