About the role
Cypress Bank & Trust, originally founded as a Florida Chartered boutique corporate fiduciary in Palm Beach, FL in 1996 and transitioned to a bank and trust company in August 2021, is seeking a Personal Banker. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of the Bank’s products, services, policies, objectives, and practices. The Personal Banker ensures adherence to Cypress Bank & Trust Quality Service Standards and Core Values while performing daily branch functions including client services, teller duties, vault operations, and account opening/closing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily branch functions such as client services, teller duties, vault operations, and account opening/closing procedures.
- Process night depository, mail, and courier transactions.
- Assist clients with online banking products including Remote Deposit Capture, wire transfer, and ACH origination support.
- Provide training and support to less experienced bankers and other staff.
- Act as bank Courier when necessary.
- Participate in the referral program to promote branch deposit and loan growth.
- Ensure branch compliance with the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC Program.
- Assure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
- Comply with the Bank BSA Policy and internal procedures, including any related training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or two years’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Office; CSI NuPoint Core System and its complementary products.
