About the role
WSFS Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing products and services to enhance customer relationships, opening new accounts, and submitting loan applications. The incumbent will also resolve customer service issues, perform account maintenance requests, and assist customers with teller transactions.
Responsibilities
- Provide products and services to enhance customer relationships
- Open new accounts and submit loan applications
- Resolve customer service issues and perform account maintenance requests
- Absorb and promote the Bank’s digital banking services
- Assist customers with teller transactions and process various transactions in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience
- Prior cash handling experience
- Prior sales experience
- Proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner
- Previous experience in a retail sales environment strongly preferred
- Proven ability for attention to detail
- Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs
- Proven, excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to market Bank products and services
- One year of previous banking experience preferred

- Legal authorization to work in the United States without an employer-sponsored petition for a visa
- Flexible rotating weekly schedule with 2-3 Saturdays per month

Pay
$37,440 - $52,800 individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
Schedule
This is a full-time 40-hour/week position with a flexible rotating weekly schedule and 2-3 Saturdays per month. The schedule can change at any time based on business needs.
