This role involves processing teller transactions and working as part of the platform staff, helping customers understand and address their financial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create a memorable customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in a designated book of business through proactive outreach efforts in person, over the phone, or other channels as appropriate.
  • Use a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations, solutions, and advice.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered.
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customer needs are met and all problems are resolved.
  • Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs.
  • Provide customer support needed, reinforcing the value of current and new technology.
  • Process teller transactions and adhere to balancing guidelines.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED, along with 6 months of customer service experience, or a college degree or equivalent military experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships.
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions.
  • SAFE Act registration required at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience, preferably 6 months or more.
  • College degree or equivalent military experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of products, services, and processes offered.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners.
  • Ability to analyze customer credit data and other financial information.
  • Ability to make sound decisions.
  • SAFE Act registration through NMLS.

Pay

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education, and geographic location.

Schedule

Normal office environment. Extending viewing of computer screens.
