About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships and offering financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in delivering an exceptional customer experience through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
• Propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.
• Assist customers with basic requests, including opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
• Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
• Develop an understanding of bank products and services to connect them to customer needs.
• Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
• Provide appropriate options for bank products and services.
• Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
• Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations for dwelling-secured transactions. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
• Maintain a cash drawer, handle cash balancing, and complete service-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
• Ability to proactively engage with customers through outreach via phone or email.
• Experience educating customers on technology and promoting mobile banking options.
• Ability to help customers succeed financially by connecting them with additional team members.
• Experience working with teams to meet customer needs and fostering strong customer relationships.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
• Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
• Professional and integrity-driven interactions with customers and team members.
• Relevant military experience, including working with military protocol, personnel benefits management, or human resources.
• Proficiency in proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.

Job Expectations

• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
• This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the registration process immediately after your employment start date.
• Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements, including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness.
• Successful candidates must meet ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screening if necessary.

Pay

$23.00 - $31.00 per hour. Pay may vary based on factors including demonstrated performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
