About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships, offering financial solutions, and assisting with banking needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in delivering an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach.
• Propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.
• Assist customers with basic requests, including opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
• Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
• Develop an understanding of bank products and services to connect them to customers' needs.
• Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
• Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers.
• Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
• Maintain cash drawer, handle cash balancing, and complete service-related tasks.

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• This SAFE position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
• Must meet Loan Originator (LO) qualification requirements under Regulation Z, including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards.
• SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after your start date.
• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.

• Experience helping customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members.

• Ability to foster and develop strong customer relationships.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
• Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
• Relevant military experience, including working with military protocol, personnel benefits management, or human resources.
• Proficient in proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.

Pay

$23.00 - $31.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on factors including prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
