Personal Banker

Utah First Credit Union is seeking to add a full-time Personal Banker to the team at our Farmington, UT branch.

About the role

As a Personal Banker, you find it rewarding to generate consumer loans that benefit customers' lives. Your superb customer service skills allow you to build lasting relationships with our customers. You open new accounts, take loan applications, and disburse loan applications for customers. You capture business by cross-selling credit union products and services that meet their needs and improve their financial well-being. Each month, you strive to meet and exceed individual and branch loan production goals.

Your responsibilities include completing transactions for a variety of requests such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, money orders, and cash advances. In addition to serving customers in person, you interact with them over the phone, ensuring exceptional customer experiences in every interaction. You participate in individual and credit union training to stay at the top of your game and work in an upbeat, fast-paced environment to help customers achieve their financial goals.

• Complete transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, money orders, cash advances
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
• Participate in training to maintain expertise

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older
• Customer service and financial services experience
• Experience in consumer lending
• Cash handling experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Respectful, tactful, and passionate about customer service
• Ability to work well individually and in a team
• Driven, ambitious, and willing to go the extra mile

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Pay

Competitive base wage starting at $20/hour, depending on experience, plus a generous incentive pay structure.
