Responsibilities

• Provide "fast, easy, and personal" service consistent with company client service standards, including resolving problems, building relationships, handling special requests, greeting clients in a friendly manner, and taking ownership to ensure follow-through and timely resolution.
• Promote consumer and small business banking products and services to clients and prospects using direct sales techniques in and around the assigned banking center.
• Achieve specific sales goals on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners to maximize opportunities and achieve sales standards.
• Provide a broad base of financial services with the goal of earning 100% of the client's business.
• Open checking and savings accounts, process client transactions, and recommend other bank products, including credit cards and loans.
• Demonstrate digital expertise by using and educating clients and associates about digital banking platforms, including online banking, mobile banking app, smart ATMs/ITMs, and self-service channels.
• Work closely with clients and business partners to refer products and services to other business lines.
• Educate and provide clients with other banking services; resolve client concerns and issues efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct operational tasks related to regulatory compliance, including documenting account opening, accounting for cash and negotiable instruments, completing logs, and ensuring accuracy of regulatory documentation.
• Protect all client information and bank trade secrets as confidential, following company policies for communication with clients, vendors, and associates.
• Implement banking center operations procedures when delegated by the Banking Center Manager, including maintaining cash supplies, auditing, documenting transactions, and ensuring compliance.
• Maintain current knowledge and compliance with regulations and bank policies, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and security policies through regular training.
• Understand, communicate, and instill the company's mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
• Complete monthly training to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Work at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
• Perform other specified duties as assigned.

Pay

The Personal Banker position pays a minimum of $20.00 per hour. This position is eligible for additional monthly incentive compensation based on achievement of established goals.
