About the team
The Surgical Services program delivers the majority of surgical services across all Alfred Health sites. The program consists of surgical units, anaesthesia and perioperative medicine, operating suite service, two elective surgical inpatient wards, a medical day unit, day of surgery admissions, day surgery and endoscopy service. The program also oversees the elective surgery waiting list, medical elective waiting list and outpatient service which averages over 200,000 attendances per year.
About the role
This position will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Operations, Deputy Director of Operations and Nursing and Deputy Program Director of the Surgical Services program. Functions include reception, diary management, travel management, record administration, database management, data entry, production of reports, meeting minutes, administrative support to committees and support to senior management.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrative support role.
- Proven ability to manage complex diaries, stakeholder coordination and executive support.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced administrative or corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
