About the role

Part-time Person in Charge position located at 2235 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92104.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in the absence of upper‑management.
• Help manage daily store operations.
• Supervise associates in performing their assigned work duties.
• Carry store keys to open and/or operate the front entry/exit doors, office, roll‑up door and registers.
• Receive inventory, stock, and provide customer carry‑out services.
• Maintain a store section, operate a cash register, and offer friendly, courteous assistance to customers.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties.

Requirements

• One to three (1‑3) years of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Retail Management Certificate is desirable.

Pay

Starting rate: $17.25 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time.
