About the role

Perform expanded packing audits for all orders arriving at PEI, at the request of the Supervisor, and learn to perform Quality audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct expanded packing audit in shipments received using Watch List Guidelines.
• Verify packing of merchandise against the PLM package.
• Improve knowledge in Quality audits, measurements, the use of PLM, and the Factory Inspection Web as time allows.
• Perform special projects if necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.

Skills

• Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of Quality Assurance.
• Ability to adhere to existing policies and procedures and pay close attention to details.
• Capable of learning to use PLM to find all necessary information to correctly perform a QC audit.
• Capable of learning to use scanners.

Physical Demands

This position requires the normal demands of any job, such as sitting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, walking, talking, and hearing. Work will require handling boxes that could weigh up to 40 pounds.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
