Permanent Physical Therapist
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a rehabilitation team serving patients in Ideal, Georgia, a small rural community with a welcoming, close-knit atmosphere. This position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, hands-on care while building strong relationships with patients and the interdisciplinary team. You'll help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence while seeing the direct impact of your clinical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, balance activities, functional training, and other appropriate treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate patient progress and relevant clinical findings effectively
- Collaborate with PTAs, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically appropriate
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes independence and quality of life
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Georgia
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Patient-focused, dependable, and collaborative
- Comfortable working in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
- Willingness to travel between facilities if pursuing the split/full-time opportunity
