Permanent Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Buhler, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals
• Absorb patient responses to treatment and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PTA
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PTs and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Kansas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
