About the role

Overlake Hospital is seeking a Surgical Assistant for the Inpatient Surgery Department. The Surgical Assistant provides support services to the Surgery Department in the main operating room, including patient transportation, supply management, room turnover, housekeeping, and peri‑operative assistance.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the operating room.
• Order and stock identified surgical supplies on a routine basis.
• Assist with room turn‑over and related housekeeping tasks.
• Support peri‑operative activities as directed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Washington State NA‑R license required; NA‑C preferred.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Pay

Hourly range: $25.25 – $37.93.

Schedule

1.0 FTE (80 hours per biweekly pay period), Monday‑Friday, break shift evenings.
