About the role

The role is dedicated to providing compassionate patient care across perioperative services, including Pre-Op, Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Recovery Room (RNFA).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Support patients' physical and emotional readiness.
• Advocate during surgery.
• Assist surgeons as an RNFA.
• Monitor recovery post-anesthesia.

Requirements

• Nursing education (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• An active RN license.
• BLS certification.

Certifications

• RNFA roles require perioperative experience.
• Additional certifications like Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) may be required.
