Periop Turnover Asst (N-C) - Full Time Evening

About the role

Join our high-profile perioperative team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens and build on our reputation for excellence as you provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of ambulatory care surgical procedures. As a periop turnover assistant, you will ensure the availability of instruments and supplies during perioperative, preprocedure, and preoperative and peri-procedure periods and assist nursing staff with patient and room preparation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of instruments and supplies during perioperative, preprocedure, and preoperative and peri-procedure periods.
• Aid nursing staff with patient and room preparation.

Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare
• Prior experience in housekeeping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• HCSMM certification required or must be certified within 18 months of starting and complete 400 voluntary hours in central service department
