About the role

The successful candidate will join ProSmile, a rapidly growing dental organization with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient care. As a Periodontist, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality dental care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Great emphasis on treatment planning and practice philosophy based on Dental Quality Alliance and Institute of Medicine Principles of Optimal Dental Care.

• PRACTICING AT A COMFORTABLE PACE WHILE LEARNING TO WORK EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY WITH A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE THAT ALLOWS 8 HR. AND 10 HR. SHIFTS WITH WEEKDAY/WEEKEND/EVENING CYCLES.
• OPPORTUNITIES FOR IN-HOUSE CONTINUING EDUCATION.
• THE ABILITY TO BE TRAINED ON LASER DENTAL/ SOFT TISSUE SURGERY, PRACTICE MANAGEMENT, IMPLANTS, CLEAR ALIGNERS, AND MORE.

• WORK WITH CLINICAL STAFF TO PROVIDE QUALITY PATIENT TREATMENTS.
• ENSURE WORK AREA IS MAINTAINED SAFE, CLEAN, AND ORGANIZED.
• FOLLOW STANDARD DENTISTRY PROCEDURES AND COMPLY WITH COMPANY POLICIES.
• REFER PATIENTS TO APPROPRIATE SPECIALISTS WHEN NEEDED.
• STAY AWARE WITH LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AND TECHNIQUES IN THE DENTAL FIELD.
• WORK WITH OFFICE STAFF IN MANAGING PATIENT APPOINTMENTS AND SCHEDULES TO ACHIEVE PRODUCTIVITY GOALS.
• EXUDING EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SKILLS TO MAINTAIN EFFECTIVE RAPPORT WITH PATIENTS, DENTISTS, OFFICE MANAGERS, AND OTHER STAFF MEMBERS IS IMPERATIVE.

Requirements

• DDS/DMD licensed and currently in New Jersey.
• Periodontist Specialty license.
