Responsibilities
- Provide periodontal and implant surgical care across a range of case types.
- Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant disease.
- Perform full-scope periodontal and implant surgery, including:
- Pocket reduction and osseous surgery
- Soft-tissue grafting and flap procedures
- Crown lengthening
- Implant placement
- Grafting and sinus augmentation when indicated
- Manage a mix of surgical cases, consults, and follow-ups based on patient need.
- Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, and assistants to support efficient care delivery and case acceptance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards.
- DDS or DMD degree.
- Completion of a CODA-accredited Periodontics residency.
- Active Texas dental license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred.
- Experience providing periodontal and implant surgery in a clinical practice setting.
- Comfortable working within flexible scheduling models, including occasional same-day surgical care.
