Perianesthesia Assistant Nurse Director - BWH

At Mass General Brigham and Brigham and Women's Hospital, we believe exceptional patient care begins with exceptional teams and exceptional leaders. We are seeking a relationship-focused nursing leader to support and elevate our PACU team.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing operations and staffing activities within the PACU
• Support and mentor nursing and support staff through coaching, development, and ongoing feedback
• Foster a positive and psychologically safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary hospital teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Develop and implement staffing plans that balance operational needs with team wellbeing
• Serve as a visible and approachable leader who supports staff through both everyday operations and high-pressure situations
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, quality outcomes, and clinical excellence

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. ACLS preferred. BLS preferred.
• Experience: 2–3 years of nursing experience required. 2-3 years of nursing leadership experience preferred. Current PACU experience preferred.

$118,435.20 - $172,234.40/Annual
