Perfusionist Lead

Job Summary

Leads assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in cardiovascular perfusion services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and staff.
• Serves as a technical or functional resource.
• Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work.
• Maintains compliance with policies and/or procedures.
• Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned staff.
• Makes input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
• Performs the duties of a perfusionist when necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
• Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
• Able to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Rare use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
• Rare driving.

Education and Experience

• Graduate from a Perfusion Program.
• Two years' experience.

• State of Work Location: Missouri - Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) And Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) And Perfusionist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
• State of Work Location: Oklahoma - Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) And Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) And Perfusionist - Oklahoma Medical Board
• State of Work Location: Wisconsin - Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) And Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) And Perfusionist - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
