Perfusionist

Perfusionist (Operating Room) Provide cardiopulmonary support during cardiac and thoracic surgeries by operating and managing cardiopulmonary bypass, ECMO, and other extracorporeal systems to maintain appropriate oxygenation, perfusion, and temperature. Key Duties Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot perfusion and extracorporeal equipment.Manage extracorporeal therapy to support patient physiology throughout procedures.Apply blood conservation techniques as appropriate.Complete accurate clinical documentation and maintain required records.Partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to support patient care.Follow strict safety practices and infection-control standards. Qualifications & Skills Strong technical knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO.Excellent patient-focused judgment and ability to respond to equipment and clinical changes.Commitment to integrity, compassion, and accountability in a team environment.Detail-oriented documentation and reliable adherence to protocols.
