Job Description
Assists with the preparation, setup, and cleaning of perfusion equipment before, during and after procedures. Assists with the logistics, documentation, and tracking of equipment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assists with set up of perfusion equipment as directed.
- Ensures Perfusion equipment is available and ready for use when/where needed.
- Performs routine cleaning/disinfection and water changes for all heater-cooler devices and other equipment with required cleaning/setup protocols.
- Documents equipment quality control checks, logs, and disinfection per policy.
- Collects periodic surveillance water samples as instructed by Infection Control.
- Reviews results and follow protocol for abnormal results.
- Closely collaborates with Clinical Engineering and outside vendors to maintain equipment.
- Works with materials management team to maintain Par levels of supplies, monitors integrity of products including expiration dates, participates in the evaluation of new products and supplies as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- Vocational or Technical training is preferred.
- 1-3 years related work experience is required.
- Experience with computer systems is required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Physical Nature of the Job
- Very Heavy work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force continually. Employee is physically active in all elements of the job.
Pay Range
$26.00 – $35.00
