About the Role

AlixPartners is seeking a Vice President to deliver high-value, complex consulting solutions in urgent, high-impact situations. You will work on front-page-worthy challenges for owners, boards, and CEOs, driving cost reductions, revenue growth, and profitability improvements in fast-paced, collaborative environments. This role operates under a hybrid work model combining in-person (client site or office) and remote work, with travel requirements varying by client and project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze corporate performance and develop business models to address high-stakes client challenges.
  • Drive cost reductions, revenue growth, and profitability improvements.
  • Develop and manage analytics, reports, and metrics to support client outcomes.
  • Identify issues systematically and draw accurate conclusions quickly.
  • Design and implement new tools, methodologies, and approaches for analysis and data management, with a focus on reusability and scalability.
  • Prepare client-ready documents and presentations, tailoring communication for senior executives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promote and abide by AlixPartners’ Core Values, fostering an inclusive environment at all organizational levels.

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of business experience or equivalent, with 1+ years of consulting experience in a professional services firm preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize data and identify implications.
  • Proven track record of making solid recommendations and developing reusable tools/methodologies.
  • High energy, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing client-ready materials and presenting to senior executives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and database applications.
  • Willingness to work outside normal U.S. business hours as project needs arise.
  • Ability to work in hybrid (office/remote) environments, including prolonged computer use.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent (strong academic record required).
  • Master’s degree and/or certification in a related specialty preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000–$220,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
