Performance Test Lead

Infosys Public Services is seeking a Performance Test Lead to join our team, focusing on both functional test automation and performance testing.

About the Role

This position involves leveraging UFT (formerly QTP) for functional test automation and LoadRunner for performance/load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for maintenance of testing infrastructure and tools, including ALM, LoadRunner Enterprise, and UFT.
• Execute performance testing SDLC processes, including development of performance test scripts, test plans, test executions, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain performance testing policies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance with organizational and security standards.
• Create, update, and manage training materials for performance testing and automation, aligning them with industry trends and organizational needs.
• Deliver ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to cross-functional teams to enhance their ability to execute automation and performance testing.
• Support Performance Testing and Automation initiatives for teams and projects enterprise-wide.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of testing processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience with LoadRunner Enterprise, ALM, and UFT; software development experience preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (three years of progressive, relevant work experience may substitute for each year of education).
• Candidates with a completed Master's degree are strongly preferred.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills via telephone, email, or face-to-face.
• Willingness to travel as required by the job.

Pay

Estimated annual compensation range:

• In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, VT, MA: $73,000 to $102,200
• In Washington, DC: $66,100 to $100,200
