About the Role

The Performance Marketing Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to drive lead generation, community growth, and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage paid media channels (such as search, social, and display).
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust targeting, creatives, and budgets based on data insights.
  • Develop and refine marketing funnels.
  • Collaborate with content and sales teams on messaging.
  • Implement A/B tests to improve conversion rates.
  • Analyze campaign and audience metrics.
  • Prepare clear performance reports.
  • Recommend strategies to enhance ROI within the venture capital and startup ecosystem.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Communication: Collaborate across teams and convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Market Research: Analyze audience behavior, competitive landscapes, and industry trends for data-driven campaigns.
  • Sales-related skills: Support lead generation efforts, nurture prospects, and align marketing activities with revenue goals.
  • Marketing Strategy: Design performance marketing plans, optimize funnels, and align tactics with business objectives.
  • Customer Service: Engage respectfully with community members, address inquiries, and enhance stakeholder experience.
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio).
  • Strong quantitative skills, comfort with A/B testing, and the ability to interpret campaign data and KPIs for continuous optimization.
  • Background in performance marketing within B2B, finance, or startup ecosystems is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
