Performance Marketing Manager
Position Summary
The Performance Marketing Manager is a high‑impact, hybrid role that blends strategic leadership with strong analytical partnership. Reporting to the Vice President, Growth Marketing, this role helps lead the strategic direction and performance outcomes of Metro’s digital paid media ecosystem while serving as a key marketing analytics and insights leader across the organization. You will guide paid media strategy across search, social, display, video, CTV, and emerging channels—working closely with agency partners responsible for day‑to‑day optimization—while translating complex performance data and outputs into clear, actionable insights that drive measurable growth, member acquisition, and return on investment. This role is ideal for a data‑driven marketer who excels at setting direction, interpreting results, and influencing decisions through data‑backed storytelling.
What You’ll Do

- Forecast media spend and performance to support effective budget allocation, pacing, and growth planning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for paid media agency partners, ensuring alignment on strategy, performance expectations, outputs, and accountability.
- Agregate and analyze marketing performance data and outputs across platforms, including GA4, campaign platforms, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and Multi‑Touch Attribution (MTA) outputs.
- Translate data into insights using statistical analysis and data visualization to inform decision-making and clearly communicate results to stakeholders.
- Design and oversee A/B tests, incrementality tests, geo‑lift studies, and other test‑and‑learn initiatives to guide marketing investment decisions.
- Partner closely with Strategic Intelligence, Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to align performance marketing strategies with broader business goals.
- Provide data‑driven feedback to creative teams and agencies to improve messaging, creative effectiveness, and channel performance.
- Maintain data integrity by overseeing UTM standards, event definitions, and analytics best practices across platforms.
- Identify opportunities to maximize product adoption, cross‑selling, market penetration, and new member acquisition through performance marketing insights.
- Leverage external data sources (census, competitive, and market data) to identify growth opportunities, refine targeting strategies, and deepen understanding of member behavior.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging channels (including AEO), and best practices in performance marketing and measurement.
