Performance Marketing Manager

About the role

The Performance Marketing Manager will optimize the company's paid marketing budget, maintain effective external partnerships, and use strategic metrics to gauge the success and impact of their performance marketing channels. This role will partner with and report into the Head of E-commerce to ensure alignment with top-down strategy while being a self-starter in individual workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own our Performance Media Spend
• Bring your data-informed understanding of our customer’s digital experience to help develop our e-commerce strategy
• Guide our agency partners on the creative pipeline and weekly business targets
• Ensure performance marketing creative reinforces brand POV and editorial standards
• Lead with Analytics / Measure and report out on KPIs
• Present Performance Marketing KPIs to executive leadership weekly using agreed upon attribution methodology
• Use reporting share-outs to demonstrate impact and inform adjustments in strategy
• Perpetually analyze and measure the impact of performance marketing spend on our customer’s digital experience and overall e-commerce strategy
• Keep Us Ahead of the Curve
• Stay curious and up-to-date on industry trends and current measurables to keep our strategy relevant and informed
• Explore new channels that can deliver sustained profitable growth

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience driving digital performance for a premium retailer with demonstrated YOY metrics
• Maintain a professional and proactive approach to managing our agency and vendor relationships
• Bring an entrepreneurial, growth-hacker mindset to our team
• Have an appreciation for brand loyalty and our customer’s relationship with Marine Layer’s values and products

• Proven track record of successful performance marketing campaigns
• Experience working with key stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business goals
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Pay

$120,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

Schedule

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our San Francisco headquarters (Tuesday–Thursday in office).
