Performance & Load Test Automation Engineer :: NYC (Hybrid_Local Preferred)

Skills

• Strong automation testing experience
• Manual testing experience
• LoadRunner, JMeter
• Performance engineering, workload modelling, monitoring tools, environment setup, capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, reporting
• Strong SQL and backend testing skills
• Experience with API, integration, database, and file testing
• Experience working in Agile environments
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level minimum) preferred; Advanced ISTQB certifications are a plus
• Healthcare Knowledge (preferred, great to have; not mandatory)
• Candidates with healthcare payer experience (particularly exposure to Facets, HRP, member, provider, enrolment, and integration testing) will be given preference

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the performance testing environment
• Develop and execute performance test scripts
• Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to improve application scalability and stability
• Support test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation activities
• Automation skills are mandatory; manual testing is one of many responsibilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to quickly contribute across multiple testing disciplines to increase overall testing efficiency and coverage

Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level minimum) preferred; Advanced ISTQB certifications are a plus
• Healthcare knowledge preferred
• Healthcare payer experience (exposure to Facets, HRP, member, provider, enrolment, and integration testing) is a preference
