About the Role
The PI Nurse provides and applies clinical knowledge and expertise, advanced critical thinking, coaching, and teaching skills. This role involves knowledge of performance improvement tools, techniques, and processes for federally or state-mandated and hospital-driven processes, including:
- Medical staff peer review
- Clinical database coordination
- Team/task force development and facilitation
- Maintenance of policies and procedures
- Continuous accreditation readiness
Demonstrates advanced verbal and written communication, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, data analysis, time management, prioritization, effective communication, and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN or current BHSF RN pursuing BSN to achieve within 3 years of start date)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with a strong clinical background
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Involvement in Performance Improvement activities
Pay
Estimated salary range: $73,860.80 – $98,234.86 per year, depending on experience.
