Performance Educator
Overview
Ready and Resilient Performance Centers provide instruction in resilience, positive psychology, and performance enhancement to U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, their families, and Department of the Army (DA) civilians at 35 Army installations within the United States and overseas. Performance Educators (PEs) teach mental‑skills, resilience, and performance‑enhancement techniques in both group and individual settings. Instruction includes general education in human performance and personalized training on mental‑skills such as building confidence, goal setting, attention control, energy management, integrating imagery, and team building. PEs help clients become high‑performing “tactical athletes” and foster high‑performing “unit teams” before, during, and after combat operations, and they provide tailored education to assist Wounded Warriors in transitioning back to their units or civilian life.
