Percentage Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport freight over land from point A to point B using company owned trucks and trailers.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries according to schedule.
• Verify and secure loads in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and necessary documentation (e.g., BOLs, fuel receipts, One Hub).
• Communicate with dispatchers and logistics team regarding updates, delays, and incidents.
• Adhere to all safety, traffic, and company regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial trucking or logistics (recommended).
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL (Class A or B, depending on type of freight/vehicle). Haz Mat endorsement maybe needed.
• Clean driving record (MVR) and background check.
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong understanding of DOT regulations and ELD compliance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting on the road. Strong communication and time-management skills. Customer-focused attitude and professional demeanor. Computer skills. Safety Minded
