About the role

The Pharmacy Technician will prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist. They will also perform all required data entry and filing associated with the process, and assist with drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform all required data entry and filing associated with the process.
• Aid in drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect data for workload measurements as needed or required.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.
