Position Summary
Transports and assists patients to various departments and areas of the hospital.
Transports supplies, specimens, equipment and other items as required.
Receives, sorts, assembles Linen exchange carts and distributes linen.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, disassemble, clean, disinfect and maintain equipment.
- Maintain good interpersonal skills and clear communication abilities.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time, walk at least 10 miles per shift and push/pull over 74 pounds.
- CPR & AED certification is preferred.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good customer service skills.
- Certification in CPR/AED is preferred.
- No prior experience required.
