About the role

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Madison & West Allis, WI on a part-time per diem status.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
• Provide individualized assistance to students
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
• Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting
• Manage class sizes typically ranging from 15 to 20 school-age patients

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Wisconsin State teaching license
• Comfortable working with K-12 students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable transportation
