Qualifications
- Valid State License as a Speech Therapist
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 1 Year of Experience in home health or acute care settings
- Strong clinical skills with a patient-first mindset

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Understanding of Medicare home health regulations & documentation
About the Role
You will play a vital role in helping patients regain their communication and swallowing abilities, improving their overall quality of life. You will provide one-on-one therapy in a home health setting, offering personalized treatment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide skilled speech therapy services, addressing articulation, voice, fluency, comprehension, and swallowing disorders.
- Educate patients and caregivers on speech exercises, communication techniques, and safe swallowing strategies.
- Work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay up to date with best practices and industry advancements in home health speech therapy.
