PER-DIEM Security Officer - $21.72/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to client facilities.
• Perform regular patrols in a retail mall setting to ensure the safety and security of assigned areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical, fire, and other incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and submit detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and emergency personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Congduct inspections and maintain equipment as required.
• Assist in risk assessments and proactive measures to enhance security.

Qualifications

• Excellent observational and de-escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
• Robust experience in customer service, law enforcement, security, and/or military roles are strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable with engaging in difficult conversations.
• Committed to ethical practices and following all safety protocols, always maintaining a safe and respectful approach.
• Basic to moderate computer skills required.
• MUST be comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Prior experience working in reception or an administrative position is highly preferred.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
• MUST have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements prior to starting.
