Per Diem RN - Oncology Department

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians during patient visits
• Managing care plans
• Reviewing lab and imaging results
• Education of patients and caregivers on treatment and side effect management
• Developing treatment schemas
• Ordering interventions
• Ensuring adherence to guidelines such as NCCN and ASCO
• Supervising staff
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Managing billing and coding compliance
• Performing routine diagnostic tests
• Auxiliary support for outpatient procedures
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree
• CT RN license
• At least three years of experience
• PREFERRED: BSN and Oncology Nursing certification

Qualifications

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Skills

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
