Responsibilities

• Participate in patient care activities and adheres to requirement of a Per Diem Registered Nurse when providing direct patient care.
• Above average ability to plan and implement patient care
• Ability to make sound nursing judgment based on nursing theory
• Accurately administers medication to infusion patients as prescribed by the Physician
• Develops and maintains collaborative relationship with all members of the healthcare delivery system
• Ability to consider needs of the department, preplanning, proactive, making adjustments as needed
• Ability to organize equipment, instrumentation, supplies, and medication for cases according to patient needs and physician preference cards
• Medical Record documentation is legible, concise and accurate, timely
• Documentation of charges is accurate and complete on the SR and Patient Flow Sheet
