Per Diem RN - Flexible Shifts

Role: Per diem Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting. Responsibilities: Provide safe, high-quality nursing care by assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions; administering medications and IV therapies; monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment; recognizing and responding to patient condition changes; collaborating with healthcare teams; maintaining accurate electronic records; adhering to safety and infection control standards; providing patient and family education; and adapting to various hospital environments. Qualifications & Skills: Active Virginia RN license; minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years; current BLS and ACLS certifications; recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on hospital assignment. Key Duties: Deliver high-quality care, ensure patient safety, respond to clinical changes, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings.
