PER DIEM RN

About the role

Per diem Registered Nurse (RN) positions are available at our intensive support residence, SunRISE Retreat, and our rehabilitation program, RISE Above. A successful candidate will support program residents with their mental health or substance use recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to program LPNs on shift
• Support admissions, discharges, and treatment planning
• Assist in acclimating residents to physical surroundings, program philosophy, and expectations
• Participate in crisis intervention
• Comply with all relevant regulations governing the programs

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse in New York
• Ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal boundaries
• Commitment to compassion, respect, positivity, and inclusion
• Clearance with all relevant background checks as per RISE policies and governing regulations
• Valid NY State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the RISE automotive program

Pay

A starting base wage of $38 per hour, plus a $500 bonus after 6 months of employment.

Schedule

Available shifts to fit any schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
