Per Diem RN

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include: delivering high-quality patient care, assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and IV therapies, monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status, collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to safety and infection-control standards, providing patient and family education, and adapting to various hospital environments. Qualifications: active Virginia RN license, at least 2 years of recent PCU experience within the past 4 years, current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test, and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on hospital assignment. Key Skills: ability to assess patient needs, respond promptly, work collaboratively, and follow hospital protocols. Flexibility to choose shifts day or night, with options for daily or weekly pay, supported by a local staffing team.
