Per-Diem Registered Nurse, RN, Med/Surg Tele

Employment Type: Part time, PRN (float between Grand Rapids and Muskegon). Night shift only, 3 shifts every 6 weeks with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations/regions as needed.
• Demonstrate standard elements of professional practice: assess, identify outcomes/solutions, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Act independently within your license, scope of knowledge, and experience.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• Maintain credentials required per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc.).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
