Per Diem- Registered Nurse, RN, (Med/Surg-Tele)

About the role

As a FirstChoice RN, you will float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions, acting independently within your license and scope of practice. You will collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to quality improvement, and embrace new responsibilities and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate care in alignment with professional practice standards.
• Act independently and appropriately within your license, scope of knowledge, and experience.
• Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve practices and outcomes.
• Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Maintain required credentials for your specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $50.00 per hour for 36 hours per week.

Schedule

Per diem shifts with flexible start dates.

Location: St Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA.
