This role involves providing direct nursing care within a specialized clinical setting, such as ICU or PCU, following the nursing process and ensuring adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care and collaborate on care plans
• Assist with tests and procedures
• Administer medications and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in orientation and precept new staff
• Respond to emergencies
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Promote patient safety and encourage patient engagement

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program
• At least one year of related experience
• Current CPR certification
• Active RN licensure
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role
• Exposure to biohazards; adherence to safety protocols required

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as PALS, TNCC, or ENPC
• Bilingual abilities
