Per Diem Registered Nurse

About the Role

Provide direct nursing care within the PACU - CCT department, delivering safe, patient-centered care across various age groups, including Neonate to Geriatric. Serve as a role model to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with hospital policies. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, assist with tests and procedures, and administer medications following safety protocols. Engage in ongoing professional development and adhere to core patient-centered care principles.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and document clinical findings
• Participate in orientation, precepting, and staff evaluations
• Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure a safe environment
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and manage patient inquiries
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and professional growth

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• Current RN licensure and CPR certification within 30 days
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in hazardous environments with appropriate PPE
