Per diem Psychiatrist - New England Baptist Hospital

Responsibilities

• Availability by telephone for consultation
• As requested, provide consultations for NEBH inpatients with psychiatric needs
• Attend patient care conferences when requested
• Consult via telephone with Nursing, Case Management, Medical Staff and Affiliated Medical Staff as requested
• Answer pages from NEBH by telephone within 60 minutes (Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
• Provide NEBH with vacation/travel schedule
• Arrange phone coverage when not available because of vacation/travel
• When requested, provide on-site consultation within 24 hours of requested consultation
• 1 hour education conferences every 4 months for members of the Hospitalist Service (hospitalists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants)

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts MD licensure
• Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry

Preferred Education

• MD / DO or equivalent

Pay

• $100.00 - $200.00 hourly
