Per Diem Psychiatrist, Department of Psychiatry, Rowan-Virtua SOM

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary care.
• Offer inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services within multiple health systems in South Jersey.
• Work closely with clinical staff for the day-to-day treatment of patients.
• In an academic capacity, teach medical students, residents, and allied health professionals.
• Seek academic promotion within the university.

Requirements

• Hold a valid NJ Medical License.
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing psychiatric care.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Strong teaching and mentoring skills.

Benefits

• Hourly paid position.
• Hourly rate: $85/hr.
• Non-benefit eligible position.

Pay

• $85/hr.

Location

• Located in Southern New Jersey, near the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
• One hour from the Jersey Shore, an hour and a half from NYC, and two hours from Washington, DC.
