About the Role

This position provides respiratory and neurodiagnostic services in a teaching hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult critical care and emergency department procedures
• Assist with intubation and extubation
• Manage tracheostomies and perform related procedures
• Collect sputum specimens and perform nasal airway procedures
• Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and wean patients from mechanical ventilation
• Use various ventilators and airway management tools

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience
• BLS certification
• RRT certification

Qualifications

• Experience with adult critical care and emergency department procedures
• Knowledge of adult critical care and emergency department procedures
• Ability to manage tracheostomies and perform related procedures
• Ability to collect sputum specimens and perform nasal airway procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and wean patients from mechanical ventilation
• Proficiency with various ventilators and airway management tools
