About the role
Select Medical is seeking a per diem / PRN Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team in the East Valley to Central Tempe, Arizona area. This role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for someone with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We will pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.
Compensation: $50 - $55/hour.
Responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to appropriate state practice acts and laws governing physical therapy practice and supervision.
- Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training, ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
- Evaluate, treat, and document the medical necessity for physical therapy for patients.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school.
- Valid State Physical Therapist License.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
