Per Diem / PRN Physical Therapist - $50-55 per hour

About the role

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed and experienced, compassionate, and driven In-Home Physical Therapist for per diem/prn work in Southern and Western Indianapolis. This is a treating clinical position with travel required to different home care settings, including clinics, doctor’s offices, and patients’ homes for therapy treatments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries, muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disorders or diagnoses to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Travel to different home care settings, clinics, doctor’s offices, and patients’ homes.
• Evaluate the home environment for rehabilitation and make recommendations to increase client independence.
• Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy and timeliness according to agency policy.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants by directing, participating in, and presenting continuing education programs; assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the director.
• Educate clients, caregivers, and healthcare teams on phases of physical therapy, use of prosthetic/orthotic devices, and durable medical equipment as appropriate.

Requirements

• Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist.
• Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted driver’s license.
• CPR certification or completion of required training.

Pay

Competitive rates of $50 to $55 per hour based on years of experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday.
